Celebrate the 50th anniversary of London Health Sciences Centre’s
Thameswood Lodge
(LONDON, Ontario) – Members of the media are invited to attend a special open house to mark the 50th anniversary of London Health Sciences Centre’s Thameswood Lodge.
Thameswood Lodge is a 62-bed, non-treatment facility that provides lodging for patients who would otherwise need to travel more than 40 km for their cancer treatments at LHSC’s London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP). It is a “home away from home” that provides LCRP patients with a comfortable, safe, supportive and caring environment during their course of treatment. The open house will celebrate this remarkable legacy.
