The newly established Community Advisory Committee (CAC) at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is seeking community feedback as they work with LHSC leadership to strengthen the organization’s governance, finances and operations. Through a community survey, available in seven languages, the CAC is providing fellow community members with an opportunity to provide feedback on their experiences at LHSC, community health priorities, and areas for improvement.
“LHSC belongs to the community, patients, and families we serve,” says David Musyj, LHSC’s Supervisor. “We know there is room for improvement in our organization and we’re on a mission to create it.”
The CAC was formed in October 2024 with the purpose of creating a link between the hospital and the community. The committee provides direct feedback and advice to the LHSC leadership team to ensure the voices of the community are represented in decision-making.
Results from the survey – along with results of a similar survey for LHSC team members – will be used to make improvements at LHSC. The CAC is committed to sharing key findings from the survey and how they will be used to guide LHSC’s planning.
“It’s only together that we can strengthen our hospital,” said Musyj. “These crucial insights will help us build a stronger foundation to continue delivering exceptional care to our community.”
