London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is pleased to announce the first baby of the New Year has arrived. Baby Mariya Halbouni was born at 12:05AM and weighed 7lb 1oz. The baby is welcomed by parents Eman Darwiche and Ahmed Halbouni.
To welcome the first baby of 2025, London Shoppers Drug Mart franchisees have generously donated a large gift basket for the baby and their family.
Shoppers Drug Mart has proudly served London and the surrounding region for more than 25 years. As a part of their ongoing commitment to the health and well-being of parents in the community, the pharmacist-owners and staff of Shoppers Drug Mart stores are pleased to welcome the first baby of the New Year to London.
LHSC, London Health Sciences Foundation, and Children’s Health Foundation would like to thank Shoppers Drug Mart for their generous donation of the gift basket.
In addition to the Shoppers Drug Mart gift basket, London Health Sciences Foundation is including a hand knitted baby blanket and Children’s Health Foundation has included a onesie and a teddy bear for the first-born baby of the New Year.
LHSC welcomes more than six-thousand newborns each year.
