What is Accreditation?
LHSC participates in the Accreditation Canada survey process which provides us with an opportunity to continually examine and improve the quality and safety of our services. Through this process, our performance is measured against nationally and internationally developed standards of excellence.
LHSC is committed to continuously monitoring against Accreditation Canada standards, so we continue to provide the best care and experience for our patients and staff. Through continuous improvement activities, we ensure that our actions align to best practices and Accreditation standards. One component of our Accreditation readiness includes our commitment to Patient Safety and our 2022-2026 Patient Safety Plan.
