The Paediatric Medical Day Unit (PMDU) is the outpatient component of the Children’s Hospital. The PMDU provides care for children and youth (newborn to 17 years of age inclusive) in the form of medical/ diagnostic interventions/treatments, as well as outpatient clinics. The PMDU sees approximately 34,000 children each year.
