A lead doctor, called a Staff Physician, is in our Emergency Department 24 hours a day, every day. In addition to doctors and nurses, our team includes social workers and child life specialists to help you during your child's emergency. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care and caring during an unplanned and often stressful experience.
The Emergency Department is also a teaching facility. We provide education as well as practical clinical experience to medical professionals at all levels of training, including medical students, medical residents, and medical fellows. Nursing professionals and other types of professions train here as well.
