Welcome to the Safety of Medications in Pregnancy and Breastfeeding clinic, part of the Fetal Risk Assessment from Maternal Exposures (FRAME) program.
In this clinic, we provide consulting services on the risks (and/or benefits) of medications or chemicals exposures during pregnancy or breastfeeding. These include potential risks to the baby and/or to the mother.
The clinic benefits from using a multi-disciplinary approach with expertise available from pharmacology, paediatrics, genetics and obstetrics, by a team of personnel from the Department of Pediatrics, University of Western Ontario with support from the Medical Genetics Program of Southwestern Ontario and the Regional Perinatal Outreach Program.
We offer outpatient consultations at Victoria Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre. We can also offer Telemedicine consultations and counseling for patients throughout Ontario via the Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN).
