The 2nd Annual Paediatric SEEG Conference

On behalf of Dr. Andrade, the London Health Sciences Centre team and The 2^nd Annual SEEG Conference Organizing Committee, we would like to say thank you for your attendance, support and contributions.

Thank you to our Keynote Speakers: Dr. Jorge Gonzalez-Martinez (United States) who spoke on "SEEG Approach to Malformations of Cortical Development. Neurosurgeon Perspective". It was an excellent kick off to a weekend of learning and engagement. Thank you, Dr. Mathilde Chipaux (France) who discussed both, "SEEG Approach to Malformations of Cortical Development. Epileptologist Perspective" and “Radiofrequency Ablation for Epilepsy. Epileptologist Perspective”. Thank you to our local speaker, Dr. Jonathan Lau (Canada), who discussed, “Radiofrequency Ablation for Epilepsy from a Neurosurgeon’s Perspective”.

Thank you to our Hot Topics Leads: Dr. Juan Pablo Appendino (Alberta) Dr. Walter Hader (Alberta) who lead the discussion on "SEEG Approach to Heterotopias". Thank you, Dr. Ayako Ochi (Ontario) Dr. George Ibrahim (Ontario) who lead the discussion on "SEEG Approach to Bottom of the Sulcus Dysplasia" and Dr. Laurence Martineau (Quebec) Dr. Alexander Weil (Quebec) who discussed "SEEG approach to polymicrogyria (PMG)" . We received great feedback about change in understanding and even clinical practice.

We would like to congratulate Dr. Linda Huh and the BC Children’s Hospital team for putting together a great case for everyone to review. Our Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre team, enjoyed the great group presentations and spirited discussions from our case, group work and review.
