The long-term outcome of psychosis improves if treatment is begun early. Treatment takes many forms at PEPP, including medication, psychotherapy, and support from social workers and nurse case managers. We also have staff dedicated to support with education, employment and recreation. Treatment at PEPP will be different for each client and will be determined with the client, their family (if applicable), the case manager, psychiatrist and any other professional involved in the client's care, such as the psychologist or recreation specialist. The most important benefit of treatment is that you will feel better and be able to regain control of your life.
"The more recovered I get, the more I want to return to help others who have recently become ill. This invisible disability has in fact led me to a richer and fuller life, and the new dream for all of us is simply to be happy."
