Educational Liaisons

Educational Liaisons guide patients and families through educational transitions, such as moving from school to hospital and back to school again. They do this by educating patients on their rights to schooling and accommodations or other types of supports that can help them succeed in their studies.

Child Life Specialists

Child Life Specialists use age and developmentally appropriate ways to educate patients about their medical condition. Through the power of play, they help support each child's emotional and developmental well-being and encourage them to actively engage in their own care.
