Laura is a nurse practitioner at the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre, who focuses on the care of patients with breast cancer receiving systemic therapies. Laura has worked as a nurse practitioner at the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre since 2018. She supports medical oncologists in their clinics as well as independently provides care to patients in the nurse practitioner-led breast cancer follow-up clinic.
Laura began her nursing career at London Health Sciences Centre working in Pediatric Medicine, Surgery and Oncology in 2011.
She completed her Master’s in Nursing at Western University and earned her Primary Care Nurse Practitioner certification in 2018.
Additionally, she has been a lecturer at Western University for the Bachelor in Sciences Nursing program.
