LHSC was awarded exemplary standing in November of 2017, which is the highest distinction with Accreditation Canada. Medical Imaging is proud to say that we passed our set of Diagnostic Imaging standards with 100%! These standards set by Accreditation Canada are the goals hospitals aim to meet as a minimum for patient safety and quality care. Everyday our team strives to provide that quality and safe care for you. The survey team that visited us reported that “There are talented expert teams in each of the modalities”. In 2018, we made further steps to improve how we provide care by adding patient advisors to our team. We look forward to what comes of that cooperation in the future.
