Did you deliver a baby outside of London, and now need to see a doctor?
- Did you deliver your baby OUTSIDE of London? You don’t have an OB or family physician IN London, AND you have concerns about your health after giving birth. If you said yes to all of the above, than this clinic is for you.
Some examples of what we can help with:
- Your child has been in hospital since delivery and you are unable to get home for your 6 week post-partum check up
- You, or your lactation consultant, have concerns about your breastmilk volume, or your nipples are red/cracked/sore
- You have concerns about your c/s wound, and the physician that performed the surgery is not in London
Where: B5 pod 6 (Take B elevators to 5th floor, turn right down the hallway to Pod 6)
When: Clinics after Tuesday afternoons (1-4pm) and Friday (9am-noon/1-4pm)
If you need to see a doctor urgently, or over the weekend, (eg/ you have signs of an infection; fever, redness or swelling of your incision, drainage etc) please go to the emergency department.
How: Email obfammednurse@lhsc.on.ca to contact a Registered Nurse within the OB family medicine clinic. Please include your full name, date of birth, health card number, and reason for your visit. A nurse will get back to you as quickly as possible. Please note this email is not checked daily, but as frequently as possible.
