Paediatric Chronic Pain Service
The Paediatric Chronic Pain Program uses the biopsychosocial model of treatment with an interdisciplinary team to help children and families experiencing chronic pain find comfort and do more of what they love.
Indigenous Pathway
The Indigenous pathway is an initiative to support Indigenous adolescents and caregivers in the Children’s Hospital – LHSC catchment with accessing the Paediatric Chronic Pain Program.
Child Inpatient Pain Service (ChIPS)
The ChIPS uses the biopsychosocial model when providing inpatient treatment for children and families who are experiencing complex pain. Our team supports medically complex pain, prepares patients/families for complex surgeries and provide post op pain management. Our interdisciplinary team uses pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatments for the prevention of chronic pain.
