I am a medical graduate of the University of Western Ontario (1975), did an internal medicine internship and one year of residency (equivalent now to PGY-1 and PGY-2) at the Royal Victoria Hospital, McGill University, in Montreal, then completed my neurology residency at UWO (1980). I then did a two-year neuro-oncology fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, in New York, New York (1980-1982), followed by a one-year neuro-oncology fellowship at the University of California San Francisco, in San Francisco, California (1982-1983). I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in Neurology, and am Board Certified in Neurology by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. I have been on staff in London since 1983. I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Oncology and Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences, University of Western Ontario. My clinical and academic interest is neuro-oncology, especially the treatment of primary brain tumors.
