23rd Annual Teddy Bear Picnic brings summer fun to young patients at Children’s Hospital

(LONDON, Ontario) – Media is invited to attend the 23rd Annual Teddy Bear Picnic at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre.

Volunteers, community sponsors, staff and physicians of Children’s Hospital have joined together to create a fun-filled event for paediatric patients and their families.

Special guests include Dr. Beary Goode, princesses and super heroes, Olaf and Anna from Frozen and a stock car and driver from Delaware Speedway. Young patients will have the opportunity to check out an antique fire truck, and have their under-the-weather teddy bears examined at the on-site Teddy Bear Hospital.

Time:                     11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  (best time for photos 11:30-1:00)

                          London Health Sciences Centre                      

                          800 Commissioners Rd. E.

(Please park in visitor parking garage off of Baseline Road and follow signs to Zone B 1st floor)
