LONDON, Ontario – Media is invited to attend the annual Teddy Bear Picnic at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre.
With the support of volunteers, community sponsors, and staff and physicians of Children’s Hospital, the afternoon will provide a number of photo opportunities as patients and families enjoy various activity stations, win fun prizes, and welcome visits from a number of popular Children’s Health Foundation mascots, including Ollie the Clown and Dr. Beary Goode.
New this year is the picnic’s environmental sustainability focus, with the goal of zero waste to be produced from non-recyclable single-use paper or plastic goods.
Date: June 19, 2019
Time: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (best time for photos 11:00-12:30)
Location: Zone B atrium, Please sign-in at the picnic’s welcome desk
