Our website was designed to serve as a gateway to information about the Cardiac Care Program as well as the Departments of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. The Cardiac Care Program at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) proudly delivers excellent, state of the art care to the people of Southwestern Ontario. As a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Western Ontario, we offer tertiary care services ranging from prevention and diagnosis to treatment and follow-up. Our research-based best practices and technologies enable us to provide the best possible care to our patients. Working with Canadian Surgical Technologies & Advanced Robotics (CSTAR), Lawson Health Research Institute and the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western, we are responsible for a number of firsts.
The Cardiac Care Program provides care at two hospital sites:
Patients are also seen in the Cardiac Outpatient Department and are referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Program with its six satellite facilities. The Children's Hospital provides cardiac care to its paediatric population.
