Victoria Hospital celebrates National Medical Laboratory Week in new high-tech, purpose-built space

(LONDON, Ontario) – In celebration of National Medical Laboratory Week, media are invited to tour the brand new state-of-the-art lab space at London Health Sciences Centre’s Victoria Hospital.

After operating for many years in various locations throughout London, nine service areas of the London Laboratory Services Group have now consolidated into a single 27,400 sq. ft space on level 10 of the new North Tower (zone B) at Victoria Hospital as part of the larger Milestone 2, Phase 2 hospital restructuring project.

As an integral part of the health care system, medical laboratory professionals are dedicated to providing vital and accurate information that contributes to effective patient care. This is a unique opportunity to see our technologists, biochemists, scientists and laboratory medical staff at work.
