London Health Sciences Centre would like to express its deep sadness at the news of the passing of a personal support worker (PSW) at the Sisters of St. Joseph due to COVID-19. We wish to extend our support to our health system partners in congregate care at this challenging time.
It is especially difficult as a community of care providers to receive this news so closely on the heels of the passing of another local health-care colleague. To express our collective grief for the loss and honour the life of this dedicated PSW, the flags at our organization have been lowered to half-mast today.
Our organization wishes to send our profound condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.
