Statement

We, as a community of 15,000 health care workers of every faith and ethnicity, grieve alongside London’s Muslim community after the heinous act of violence we have just witnessed. We condemn and denounce racism, intolerance and hatred in any form.
As an organization, we have very publicly committed to work together to change the future of health, which includes addressing the systemic racism that is felt in many parts of our society, including health care. In light of last weekend’s tragedy, we are recommitting to that vision of equitable health care for all, delivered in a place of healing that welcomes everyone.
To London’s Muslim community, we are here for you. To every Londoner, let us work together to fashion a more just world.
