(LONDON, Ontario) – On Wednesday, 250 grade nine students will get an inside look at what a career in health care is really about as they participate in Take Our Kids to Work Day at LHSC.
In addition to receiving information about planning for a career in health care, students will have the opportunity to hear from guest speaker A.J. Fordham. Fordham speaks on the subject of injury prevention as he shares his powerful story of overcoming a severe traumatic brain injury. Media are invited to attend this special presentation.
Take Our Kids to Work Day gives students a chance to explore future job prospects in health care, while giving LHSC staff the opportunity to showcase what they do and how it impacts the community.
