The Clinic is located on the 7th floor of London Health Sciences Centre's University Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada.
The Neuromuscular Clinic was established at London Health Sciences Centre's Victoria Hospital in 1981 as a clinic with expertise in the investigation, diagnosis and management of patients with neuromuscular diseases. As part of the consolidation of health care in London, in 1996 we moved to University Hospital. Our objectives are twofold:
- Firstly, we are dedicated to patient service. This involves an assessment of the nature and cause of your difficulties, and the treatment of neuromuscular disorders - in short, to help you, the patient.
- Secondly, as part of an ongoing effort to improve patient care, we are committed to research into neuromuscular diseases. Only through such research can we expand out knowledge of the nature and causes of neuromuscular disease, and eventually, of their treatment.
