How to get an appointment

As a patient, you cannot book an appointment with us yourself, we need a written request for consultation from a physician involved in your care, such as your family doctor.

Appointments are made for the earliest available clinic date, depending on urgency.  If after receiving your clinic appointment, you feel that the matter is more urgent, please speak to your family doctor or referring physician, who is then welcome to contact us.  We regret that waiting lists are at times long, and we do our best to ensure that patients who need to be seen in a timely manner are not kept waiting.

The clinic physicians have specific areas of expertise and interest within the neuromuscular field, and appointments are made accordingly unless requested otherwise.  Clinics are normally held on Mondays and Wednesdays.  The letter sent to you with the appointment notice will give details about the location of the clinic and how to register.  You must bring your Ontario Health Card to all appointments.
