Cranial Nerve
The 2 - 7th cranial nerves are located on either side of the brainstem (highlighted by blue arrow). Each 7th cranial nerve controls forehead, eyelid and facial movement on the same side (ipsilateral). It also stimulates salivation and lubrication. The sensory component includes taste to the anterior 2/3 of the tongue. |
